Hourly to Salary Calculator
Hourly rates look small next to salaries. This shows what your rate is worth over a full year once unpaid time off is taken into account.

How the calculator works
Your hourly rate is multiplied by weekly hours, then by the weeks you are actually compensated. Any unpaid vacation or gap weeks are subtracted first.
Formula
Annual income = Hourly rate × Weekly hours × (Total weeks − Unpaid weeks)
Monthly income = Annual income ÷ 12
When this is useful
- Contractors and shift professionals planning an annual budget
- Evaluating whether an hourly contract beats a permanent salary package
- Assessing the real financial impact of unpaid holidays
